My little girl became so big so fast

drama queen and actress with her own cast

yet compassionate and smart

you proclaimed more than your part

our lives forever altered, changed to last 

If only the world had your heart

we would live in a better place

you take big steps in life's race

through all the challenges you face

therefore you will always have all my admiration

I pray that your feet be kept strong

never weakening as you go along

that HIS ways you will forever seek

through temptation that makes the soul weak

Hush, don't make a sound

unable to share, how do I dare

 a little life, product from a love so pure and rare

how do I dare, it would be unfair

I love you more that words can say

Just know, I will always pray

That the LORD would guide the way

that you may grow up strong and don't stray

that the child within you can forever stay
