TRUST

(Water color)

Trust with your whole life,

like a child has trust in her father

not arguing, without strife

in his arms no need to bother

Why, oh why, do we only believe

in earthbound notions, in what we can see

don't we understand we are deceived

therefore we will never be free

In life's ocean of ever changing waves

If we hold onto YOU my LORD

we will never be mercy's slaves

all peace will be restored

LORD, I pray that you will hold me

whilst the waves are coming

That I will never drown in this sea

for only YOU know events forthcoming

I entrust my whole life in YOUR hands

I will accept YOUR plans

Please LORD take my hand

lead me back to dry land,
